Five years after the war, Fire Lord Zuko and Metalbender Master Toph Beifong drink poisoned tea and die. They wake up in Ba Sing Se, right in the middle of the war. Being the responsible adult she is, Toph quickly forms a plan:
1. Drink tea with Uncle Iroh (Zuko included).
2. Don’t tell the GAang, because mystery is fun.
3. Watch everyone lose their minds trying to figure out what’s going on.

Summary
He drinks the tea and tries not to look uncomfortable as Zhao moves closer and closer. He doesn't know how, but somehow every time he blinks the man is closer. He should say something, but what? He’s not actually doing anything wrong. (He should move closer; Zuko is his prince, and he should be hanging on his every word. It was perfectly reasonable.)
If uncle were here, objecting would earn a stern look and a proverb on the nature of politeness and being receptive to your conversation partners.
Zuko says nothing.
Zhao is next to him now. He rests a hand on Zuko's thigh.
He wants to say something, but his head feels like it’s stuffed with cotton and his tongue won't work properly.
Wherever Zuko goes, Zhao always seems to be there, smirking & offering him tea. He doesn't want the tea-that-is-not-just-tea. But he can't explain why to his uncle, or tell him that the very thought of tea makes him want to scream (in rage, not fear, because princes don't feel fear).

Uncle Iroh- for some reason Zuko yet again failed to understand -refused to shoot lightning at his nephew. When further asked about it, he'd said something about it being for safety and health reasons (although it was still a bit unclear whose health he was referring to).
Zuko had never been able to count on luck though. If he wanted to ensure he could get an upper hand against his family, he would have to go and look for one himself, like with pretty much everything else in his life.
But perhaps people should really be careful of what they wish for. It might become true in the least expected ways.

A dark old bed, tall wardrobe with an ornate key tethered to the knob with a stretch of white ribbon, a sideboard and set of drawers. The bedding looked just as old as the house itself, a thickly woven white woollen bedspread over a red-brocade quilt. Looking down, Alfred focussed on the dark planks at his feet. He shouldn’t find it this hard to keep his emotions under control.

Katara put her hand on her necklace… her mother's necklace, Aang was still listening attentively.
"I was 4 when it happened, Sokka was 10. One of the soldiers broke in, Where me and Sokka were learning how to hunt from our mom and- he killed our mom and tried to attack me but Sokka saved me." It was scary seeing the man kill her mother, there were some nights where the smell never left her nose. She should have run but her mom was there and her mom was her safe space.
"It's not your fault" Katara finally let her tears fall, her shoulders shook as she finally thought about what happened that night, and Aang was right there holding onto her arm rubbing circles into her hand.
Sokka had finally finished carving something from one of the leftover pieces of firewood He was still mad at Katara and her new best friend But he couldn't blame Aang entirely he didn't ask to be the avatar but he still felt bitter so to counter all of his bad attitude he carved something to make the kid feel better.
aang and katana are the same age, sokka's older, events are just a tad different and im trying my best to make it close to canon.

“He was beautiful!” Ashido pops up, sliding on top of the coffee table in front of Kaminari with a wild grin. The classmates ignore Iida’s indignant yelling.
“Long, flowing hair, pale skin, nice eyes,” she sighs dreamily, “I’m so glad we got to meet such a hot ghost.”
“I didn’t really see him,” Sero recalls, “I just remember hearing a voice and then running for our lives.” Kirishima gives a nod.
“Plus, it was really dark,” he adds.
“That’s because you weren’t looking,” Ashido gives a pout.
Uraraka gives a hum, she wants to see a hot ghost. Hagakure shifts beside her, careful not to move too much, and she feels a woosh by her head from what must be a fist in the air.
“That’s it!” she exclaims, “I want to see the hot ghost.”
In which Class A just wants to find a ghost, but instead they find a lonely, forgotten god in the middle of the woods.
