Trees sway with the chilling air, casting a rather gloomy look on the forest. The world felt rather calm as the moon lovingly shared its light for the cool night. The snow had ceased falling a few moments earlier; the ground slick with ice and left a pure white color. It was almost silent, but the flutter of wings in the dark and the occasional rustling of an animal could be heard.
Tonight was different, the innocent sounds were replaced by a animals dying breath; a cry for help that withered quickly, soon the silence stretched. The forest seemed to hold its breath, still and with unease as the sound of tearing flesh could be heard. A dark red splattered on the snow, no longer pure and untouched. The animal feasted on its prey, devouring until scraps were left. Blood dribbled from its chin as one last sickening sound was heard.
The hunt was over.or: yeah i made this sound edgy, but i guess it kinda is?
