In a few short months, a lot can change, and Hawkins is no exception. Between the Snow Ball of 1984 to the summer break of 1985, our beloved characters find themselves in a lot of wacky, unpredictable situations. Each chapter is its own one-shot story, in chronological order starting from the end of 1984. Each is cheesy, fun, and meant to serve some kind of purpose for at least one character, whether it be explaining canon traits or just to perpetuate certain themes seen in the connected seasons. From trying to break arcade record-high scores to unrequited love, the concept of a certain, unnamed spin-off is redone in this little collection of Stranger Things stories.

Summary
This fic is a continuation of my original fic “The Longest Road To Happiness 👎” If you haven't read it, please go do so. I have poured so much of myself into the story, the world lore, and the characters, and they are very near and dear to my heart. This specific fic will encapsulate the various ideas that have been bubbling around in my head, including scenarios, ideas, and interactions that were unable to naturally fit into the original fic. Whether because they exist outside the timeline in the original fic, or they are expanded chapters with details that are not addressed. There will be fun, goofy times, sad, depressing times, and dramatic, adventurous times to be had here.
Just like in the original fic, I will include a brief, sparsely detailed summary and a list of trigger warnings if the chapter calls for them. Enjoy, and if you have any ideas or prompts you would like to see these characters go through, do not hesitate to ask or recommend. An original work by Koldeoo,“Saba!” follows a City Girl who moves into the small city of the fitting name, Saba. In her moving tour, she is not the most accustomed to the rural living in a fictional city in Japan, based in a modern small village like Okinawa. In this story, Aida will need to find the true nature of this town by seeing the beautiful things the town has to offer. And her exploration tells a tale of her new home and the mackerel. She probably can’t dodge the mackerel anytime soon.

This is an inspired work of fiction that I am using as writing practice. I have been sending it *exclusively* to my best friend, but I thought it was too amusing not to put out there. That said, do not take this too seriously as some parts are written badly either intentionally or because I need to practice accepting imperfect writing/wording. My goal is to update once a week, so considering I am nearly 50 chapters in I don't think that will be a problem. If there are some things that look like a joke but you don't get it, it's probably an inside joke that's either between my friend and I or it's a local thing. I absolutely have incorporated actual people into this work (said friend included). Again, the only audience I am really taking into consideration when I write this is her, so many of the references are for her amusement specifically, if not for my own. That said, I was like 9 when Danny Phantom came out, and I had a HUGE crush on him back in those days. I would have been 11 when the show ended, so I would consider him to be older than me since he was 14 in the show, making him at least 3 years my senior. In that respect, my liking for him is age appropriate. This is as the subtitle says: a teenage dream.
