Summary
Cliff has been going absolutely crazy trying to protect Hollander and Rozanov’s secret relationship, so he seeks out a co-secret keeper in his best friend, Hayden Pike. Hollander is at Rozy’s place for what he hoped would be an extended visit, with tuna melts and everything. If they ended up dating, Cliff would need some help.
Cliff and Hayden have been friends since their rookie season, meeting up for drinks off the ice and texting regularly. Luckily, he’s just as exasperated with their captains as he is.

Ilya Rozanov was as prepared as he was going to get to end his relationship with Shane Hollander, when he gets hit on the ice and is sent to the hospital. Ilya doesn't know how to deal with everything he feels about this and needing to break up with Shane.
"Perhaps the oxygen in the room had been sucked out for more than just him. Maybe this pain is felt by everyone, as the star of the NHL failed to rise again after a brutal hit. Link dies at Fort Hateno when Calamity struck, and stands before the Goddess Hylia to receive his newfound freedom as Hateno's Gold, the diety of Spirit Ruins.

“About that.” Troy said, “Do you…would you mind…giving me Shane’s phone number?” Troy ran his hand through his hair. Ilya was packing the last item from his locker into his bag when he froze as Troy finished that question.
“For what reason?” Ilya asked, as he pretended to fidget with the last item in the bag.

Troy just joined the Centaurs. He's not doing well mentally, but a friendship with Ilya Rozanov improves his self-worth slightly. He musters the courage to ask Ilya something....for Shane's phone number.
