Summary
As you might suspect, Hannibal Lecter does not deal well with being an Omega so he hid it well all his life. Sadly, some things like heats can't be hidden. Thats when Will enters the scene. He is an Alpha, caring by nature but quite unstable due to his empathy. Not exactly the strong, dominant person the average Omega could look up to. But Hannibal is not the average Omega and he sees the hidden strength that allows Will to enter the darkest minds and still find his way back into the light.
So we have a slightly unstable Alpha, a reluctant Omega and a relationship that defies all expectations. Have fun reading.

Summary
Shane claws at the sheets, drunk on the image of Ilya pounding into him relentlessly.
‘Tell me how it feels, Hollander.’
“Feels so good, don’t stop,” Shane whines emphatically, cheek shoved flat against the bed.
He’s so fucking close, right on the precipice of release. He feels a familiar trembling in his thighs, a spark igniting at the base of his spine. He speeds up even more, rutting against the damp pillow as his orgasm approaches.
“Ilya, fuck, I’m close, I need -”
“What do you need, Hollander?”
Shane’s eyes fly open and his movements screech to a halt, body shooting upright and moving off of the pillow as if it’s burned him. He stares in wide-eyed horror as Ilya smirks at him from the doorway.
Fuck.
Shane and Ilya are friends and roommates. When Ilya stumbles upon Shane during some “alone time”, he decides to stick around.

Summary
After the cliff, Hannibal and Will do not run toward a new life.
They limp into one.
There are aliases, houses by water, careful touches, rings worn too close to the skin, and all the old ghosts refusing to stay buried. This is not a story about becoming normal. It is about what happens when two people with blood on their hands try to learn tenderness without pretending they are clean.Bookmarked by kitchen_confessional

Bookmarker's Notes
***
I might die at chapter 23. It is a risk.
Omfg, had me in the first half, not gonna lie. My fucking heart.***
Only on chapter 16 and this is killing me. So good. They are breaking my heart.
Also, never quite seen the trope of the “misunderstanding could be fixed so easily if they could just talk to each other honestly” done quite so well.
At least, it better be a misunderstanding, because it’s not tagged for infidelity lolAnd that tag for ‘there was only one bed’ is doing a lot of work lol
Busy killing me and then there’s a line like this for comedy gold: “The menu, which Will distrusted immediately because it described vegetables as if they had overcome something personal”.

Turns of phrase that are awesome (only a sample or I might copy the whole story here):
—-Hannibal had garment bags delivered again. They arrived late in the afternoon…as if some corner of Florence had found its way across the sea and refused to understand where it had been sent.
***
Will had not been awake long enough for patience.
***
Hannibal was awake beside him, as if sleep had released him by appointment. Propped slightly against the pillows, dark hair loose from sleep, and perhaps from something that had come before it, looking toward the window with the faintly offended stillness of a man who had agreed to snow in theory and was now being made to endure it in practice.
***
He noticed everything Hannibal did not say about the inconvenience. The way he looked at the empty rooms as if they had failed to meet him properly dressed.
***
Hannibal stepped out. He did not rush. He never did when rushing would tell the truth.
***
In other circumstances, Hannibal might have corrected the distinction. Might have softened it with precision. Might have unfolded intention from action until the two resembled different things.
***
At first, some part of him measured the absence in familiar terms. An hour. Two. The predictable state of anger needing distance.
But anger had a radius. It circled back. It paced. It wanted to be witnessed.
***
He had allowed the first morning its pride, the second its anger. After that, the distinctions began to fail him.
***
Hannibal did not call at first. He dressed the decision in restraint because restraint was a language he knew how to speak…
By the end of the second week, restraint had begun to look too much like fear with better posture.
***
When he finally entered the bedroom, it had almost been emptied. Will had not taken enough to be practical. He had taken enough to be understood.
***
The distance did not heal him.
It only proved he could survive it.
***
He twisted hard, throwing his weight forward, but more hands came. Shoulders. Arms. Men trained to take the body away from its own intention.
***
Too many of them. Too close. Efficient in the way violence became efficient when men convinced themselves it was procedure. Weapons raised.
***
But he had learned, finally, not to mistake the insufficiency of an offering for permission to make none at all. -

Summary
The cop seemed like he wanted to say something else but stopped. He cleared his throat and rather fatherly ordered, "Well, don't sleep in your car again, son. You enjoy Georgetown now, alright?"
"Yes, sir." Will answered.
The cop left after an awkward beat and Will slammed the door closed, wrapping the blankets more tightly around himself. He looked down at the card.
Domestic abuse hotline.
He threw the offending card in the front into the pile of trash. He scowled at it. Did he really read that easy? He buried his head under the blankets. He refused to admit it. He didn't want help. He was fine on his own.

Bookmarker's Notes
The silence was growing long and Will couldn't help but feel like it was his fault. He was the one that turned awkward. Hannibal was just trying to be fun. God, he was so smooth and charming like a fucking swan preening for attention. Will felt like a duck: waddling and floundering in the water until a hunter comes and shoots him and cooks him for dinner.

Summary
“Happy birthday, Graham!” Will cringed into his coffee cup and ducked into his office, silently cursing Beverly Katz for getting her hands on his personnel file the month before. He closed the door carefully behind him and stowed his bag, praying silently that nobody had heard her casual greeting from across the room.
After years of keeping it a secret, Beverly has managed to find out Will's birthday, and in her enthusiasm, she shared it with Will's love interest.
When Hannibal plans a surprise for Will, what else could come to light?

"You saved my life, you know."
Hannibal looked up from the elegantly embossed menu, staring into shining ocean eyes from across the polished wood of the table that separated them. Will boldly held his gaze. He no longer needed to look away; their trial by fire and water seemed to have cured him of that particular proclivity. Only his hands betrayed any nervousness - one quested across the table to grip Hannibal's available digits, the other played with the tines of a salad fork he had no intention of using. The doctor squeezed Will’s hand reassuringly, silently willing his own thumping pulse to slow.
Hannibal and Will find some time to slow down and assess their feelings in Cuba.

There is a visible difference if one looks closely enough. He notices it in the mirror first, then in Will’s gaze. The color changes. The tightness loosens. The ache becomes specific, then localized, then forgettable. Close enough to kiss, even. Hannibal frequently gets that close. He allows Will to get closer still. Because Will wants to look, and Hannibal gives.

Summary
If there was anything tender and fleeting underneath the hunger, it did not translate into their encounters. They didn’t even kiss. It was little more than mating and felt like fighting for survival.
Will ends their arrangement because he wants something more. Hannibal just wants him back. But getting him back might require a change of heart - or a change in tactics.

Summary
Come here, Will.
His voice is low and dark, almost authoritative—a silent command as he gazes at the other man.
He swallows, trying to keep control as he feels his chest tighten at the sight of Will stepping closer. He's not used to feeling this kind of vulnerability, this kind of lack of control, and it's both terrifying and intoxicating all at once. It takes every last bit of self-discipline to not just grab him by the jacket and pull him flush against his body… and when Will comes to stand in front of him, he can see the desire mirrored in the other man's eyes.

“A flower shop? Why do you get the sex shop? And I’m—I’m selling flowers.” Hollander’s nose scrunches up, like he can’t imagine anything worse than floral arrangements. Like he’d be the one running a dildo store.
“Because I am the sexy one. You are—boring, like I say. These writers—they know this. They are” —he gestures, searching for the word— “insight. Perceptive.”
A rosy flush appears along the ridges of Hollander’s cheekbones. Soft pink behind a constellation of freckles. Fucking lethal. “Right. Yeah. This sounds dumb. And it’s an invasion of privacy.”
Not this again. “Do you own actual flower shop?”
Hollander looks panicked, like he might have forgotten if one of his properties houses a florist. “No, I—”
“Then is not invasion. Story is very hot, very sexy. Let me tell you. I will read.”

“I cannot believe that you invited him”
He can believe it, actually. His mother invites him every year, this is just the first year he’s actually showed up. A fact which was news to Shane until he’d walked into the cottage, weekend bag slung over his shoulder, to the sight of Ilya Rozanov reaching up on his tippy toes, t-shirt riding up to expose the small of his back, helping his mom hang garland over a doorway
Shane had, literally, nearly turned around and walked right back out
Its Christmas and its snowing and Shane's mom's annoying (ly hot) best friend is stuck at the cottage

“Only one bed, hm?” Ilya said, looking at Shane with raised eyebrows and a smug grin spreading across his lips.

Or: Shane needs a fake date to the Hollander family's Christmas celebrations to get his parents off his back about his love life. Ilya fucking Rozanov is very likely the worst possible person to play Shane's fake boyfriend. Except, Ilya is kind of convincing...

Oh no, Shane thought.
Oh God. No.
Ignoring his clammy palms, he scanned the tiny hotel room, wondering where he could even lay his bag.
Then, after a breathtaking second, he forced his eyes to meet Rozanov’s.
With a mischievous smirk, Rozanov was sitting casually on the only bed, arm draped over the pillows—including the pillow that Shane had to sleep on.
And Rozanov’s muscular chest and arms were on full, shameless display.
Shane might just die.
“So,” Rozanov said, “you and me, we sleep together?”
Or: Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov were stuck in the same hotel room in Saskatchewan after the International Prospect Cup ended—and there was only one bed.

No matter the trope.
No matter the universe.
No matter the setup.
They find each other.“What if I am boyfriend?” Ilya asked through a mouthful of noodles.
“Huh?” Shane paused his nibbling on a piece of eggplant. The black bean sauce was outstanding.
“I can be the boyfriend,” Ilya said. “When is the wedding?”
“February fourteenth.” Shane cringed.
“That is so…. What is word, cliche?” Ilya clarified. Shane confirmed with a nod. “Fine, I will have time off then.”
“I-I can’t ask you to do that,” Shane stammered.
“Is not a big deal, Hollander, you need fake boyfriend and I get a trip to, where was it, Kauai?” Ilya grinned. “It would be nice to take a week off and enjoy the sun.”
Shane thought about it for a moment. Actually, having Ilya there could be fun. And it would definitely get his family and friends off his back about him settling down.
“Only if it’s not too inconvenient,” Shane said, picking at the sauteed pea shoots on his plate.
“It will be fine. I am a great boyfriend,” Ilya said.

“Ack,” Shane sputtered softly.
“Make sure you get my lower back, too, please.” Ilya adjusted his stance, which forced his ass into the air and Shane realized just how short his swim trunks were. He immediately regretted having functioning eyes.
He liked Ilya. Like liked Ilya. Had… pants feelings for Ilya.

Jaw Man flicked his middle finger up at Ilya, who didn’t seem to mind, and gestured towards Shane and Hayden with raised eyebrows. “The f*** are you even doing right now, man.”
Ilya said briefly, “Orgy.”
“Uh,” said Shane, “no, that’s not—”
Ilya grinned at him. It was a mean-edged grin but something about it seemed to suggest that he was joking with Shane, rather than about him. “Oh, he speaks.”
“We’re not here for an orgy,” Shane said to Jaw Man. “We’re missionaries with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

Hannibal Lecter, a famous celebrity chef, has a wildly successful show where he will visit failing restaurants and try to fix their many flaws. It's a difficult job. But something seems... off. The owner and the head chef are both hiding something, and Hannibal is determined to get to the bottom of the matter.
All in a way that makes for good television, of course.

When Shane reluctantly agreed to kick off his MLH career with a photoshoot, he imagined, somewhat vaguely, a hockey uniform and some dramatic lighting on the rink. Shoot a few pucks. Pose intensely. That kind of thing.
The marketing agency, apparently, had other ideas.
A plane flight gone wrong, a desperate crash landing, and suddenly hockey’s two brightest young stars find themselves stranded in the heart of the Canadian wilderness. With no way home and no rescue coming, they only have one hope for survival -- each other.

no better way to cook them than to cut the meat up into chunks and roast it on sticks over the fire like fleshy marshmallows.
Shane stared. The rabbit -- because it was a rabbit, velvety soft and so plump it made Shane’s mouth water, just looking at it -- wobbled to its feet, gave one good look around, and then, apparently deciding that life wasn’t worth it, toppled down dead.
It was early as fuck, because Shane liked a routine, and for whatever godforsaken reason that routine included racing the birds to see who could start their day first.
The morning ripened around them…
