Summary
Given how and where and when Alastor grew up, he generally doesn't consider himself bad at math. There are all sorts of combinations of sums and division and multiplication he can do without the assistance of an adding machine. He first learned the skill while helping his maman scale up and down amounts in the kitchen. He encountered it again as he started to read music and transpose compositions between different keys for different instruments. Then he honed said skill keeping a close eye on what he should be earning for his hours of work versus what white men tried to pay him, not to mention how tips got allocated out amongst band members. So between cooking and music and money, he’s rather competent day-to-day.
In this particular instance, however, Alastor can admit that he has vastly miscalculated.

He examines himself in the mirror, turning his back and twisting his hips around. When Alastor looks down at his own skin, his soft cock and the tangle of his curls, his body is unblemished - unchanged by what he and Lucifer have just done. Some part of him finds that rather loathsome.

Alastor has faced some of the greatest evils that have ever existed - has stood firm in back alleys against overlords stronger than him, has several times dodged exorcist spears and even divine guitars.
He is NOT going to be defeated by a fucking HOTEL ROOM and the desperate housewife from HELL.
Alternative summary: Alastor spends a sizeable amount of time locked in single combat with a hotel room door, Vaggie grows as a person, Lucifer Morningstar is Very Concerned that his ex-wife and current-whatever may be getting along too well, Charlie spends a lot of time being confused, Frederick von Eldrich comes out of retirement with style, the Archangel Michael develops a headache, and Vox attempts to de-bug his conscience.
There are also copious musical references for no good reason whatsoever.

Summary
Lucifer sagged backwards, still trembling with the aftershocks of his orgasm but unable to bear the feeling of Alastor clamping around him any longer. His head was thumping with the sound of his own heart, his senses in overdrive with the scent of Alastor getting stronger by the second.
The whine Alastor let out in protest as Lucifer slipped from him set a flame burning in his abdomen, instincts screaming at the back of his mind to bury his cock back in his Omega until the other man was sated. Though his mind and his instincts were willing, Lucifer's body needed at least a few minutes to recover.

There were a lot of things Lucifer liked about having Alastor in his bed.
The white noise the demon emitted, for one. That was actually really soothing, especially when some piano or soft jazz started up while Alastor was still asleep.
The fact that Sleeping Alastor seemed to be much more open to cuddles and spooning than Awake Alastor was another bonus.Yep, Lucifer considered himself the resident expert on sharing a bed with the radio demon.
