Summary
This work is an omegaverse adaptation of Children's Day (CD), which is itself derived from the original Chinese novel 初三的六一儿童节 (Chū Sān de Liù Yī Értóng Jié) by She Xie Dian Dian (蛇蝎点点).
The original characters, settings, and plotlines belong entirely to She Xie Dian Dian. I am not the original owner of this story. This adaptation is a fanwork created for personal enjoyment and creative exploration, and no copyright infringement is intended. All credit for the original characters, world, and emotional core of the story goes to the original author.
Please note that this adaptation will focus only on the second couple of the original story: Xie Jia Hua (Inspector Xie) and Lu Guang Ming. The primary couple of Children's Day will make a minor appearance in this work.

My daddy's old notes don't have anything useful, so we're gonna have to ask the devil directly.
