Severus Snape believes Alchemy should fall under the expertise of the Potions Master and is far from pleased to see Hermione back.
Through music, Hermione begins to uncover aspects of Snape that have rarely been seen or understood.
It is a slow burn with plenty of angst and push and pull, with the eventual smut. HEA.
The story alternates between Hermione's and Snape's POV.
