Shin thinks Saint has really pretty hands.
Shin knows, its probability is a tad bit strange, to find another person's hands pretty. Especially when that someone is your best friend, and is as reckless, abrasive and powerful as Saint, who uses his hands to fight, his knuckles to punch and protect, his palms to catch himself as he falls.

Summary
In middle school, there isn’t much more to Saint than the anger bubbling under his skin, like a volcano about to erupt at the slightest provocation. He’s angry at many different things: his father and the empty bottles that stack up in the kitchen’s corners, the rickety food stand and the meager amount of everyday earnings in the money bowl, the debt collectors and the mess they make out of their house, the teachers at their school and their droning voices, his fellow classmates and their too-bright lives.
But through all of the turbulence of Saint’s youth, Shin is right by his side.
Shin is everything that is good and right in the world, his anchor and his guiding star. His closest, most important person. His best friend.
