Sangwoo narrows his eyes. “Don’t,” he warns, because this is getting completely out of hand. His warning is met with an impish smile that means it will be ignored. He narrows his eyes further and tries again, firmer this time, “Hyung, don’t.”
The hospitable older woman who runs the bijou restaurant appears before their table wearing a sunny smile. Before he gets the chance to even twitch, Jaeyoung materializes a few bills out of thin air and hands them to her with a grin that is too smug to be friendly. She receives the payment with a warm “thank you, please come again,” collects their already neatly stacked dishes, and rushes off because, despite its small size and its harder-to-find location, the restaurant is busy tonight.
“Oops,” Jaeyoung says in that cheeky way that suggests he feels more smug than sorry, “too late.” (ch. 13)

The unknown cargo had been taken deeper into Batarian space and was thought to contain a weapon. Upon opening the container, the Batarians were left with more questions than answers.
