L-10029005 knew that he wasn't much.
Thats why he was set on a scouting mission alone in a underwhelming planet unlike his other squad members who got to massacre worker drones left and right.
So here he was in Tin-5, a mining site for JCJenson during their golden age, during the humans golden age.
It was largely abandoned after exorcising all the humans and drones left on the planet, the factory laying bare. His misson? A regular checkup to see if any rats escaped their wrath.
Really, it was just a excuse to kick him out of a more serious misson. Making sure he doesn't mess up the teams reputation. Of course the dozen or more times they checked this planet was enough to completely wipe life from this planet.
...So how did he find himself stalking a group of humans and drones?
Furthermore, he found there was a semi-working technologically outdated civilization tucked underneath, Where drones and humans worked to survive.
Maybe he wasn't so useless after all.
