Summary
Harry Potter and Izuku Midoriya.
Two green-eyed boys who have the world set against them. Both kicked down for over a decade by people who should've cared for them. Both carrying something larger than themselves. Both unable to curb their 'saving people' thing. Both opposed by an undying evil. Both rose above as they finished their schooling and fulfilled their fates.
But one had their fate forced upon them, while the other freely chose it. One was born with power, while the other wasn't. One is resentful about their role, while the other dearly wished for it. One kept to themselves and made only the closest of friends, closed off from the rest and seen as a mysterious, antisocial teen, while the other blossomed into a social butterfly, lifting everyone up around them through their optimism, bright smiles and nerdy outbursts.
Both in completely different worlds, in completely different times, on opposite ends of the earth, with completely different systems of power. Let's see what happens when you mash them together.
After all, despite their differences, Harry Potter and Izuku Midoriya are Kindred.

Summary
AU of Season 3, diverging from Episode 2. Butcher doesn't take Temp V to fight Gunpowder, and Homelander actually suffers the PR consequences of his speech. He has a comeback plan and Butcher is forced to be a part of it, but that's fine—he has a plan of his own.
The scorched earth is briefly put on hold.

Summary
Ben became a hunter only a couple of years ago, after a traumatic event that turned his life upside down. And yes, he might not be very good at it (yet), but he's trying his best.
So when his new friend Claire invites him to meet a few of her hunter friends, he's secretly happy to expand his little network. And of course, everyone has heard a thing or two about the famous Winchester brothers, so that's a plus.The only problem is that one of the Winchesters, Dean, doesn't look exactly thrilled to meet him. The guy looks at Ben as if he was a ghost (and when you're a hunter, that's saying something). Apparently, the angel by Dean's side doesn't seem to be a fan either.
Now Ben cannot, for the life of him, figure out what the hell did he do to piss off an angel and a freaking Winchester, and he isn't sure he wants to find out.
