Summary
Lucifer wakes up to a life he doesn't recognize. One where Alastor is at his side, his room feels wrong, and something vital in his memory has slipped away. Worse, it somehow feels like Alastor is bracing for something Lucifer can't see coming.

Summary
In a world where humans receive their soulmate's lost items, Alastor grows up surrounded by rubber ducks. They were fun when he was five, but, as he grows up, he understandably becomes weary of them and the many, many more items his forgetful soulmate can't seem to stop losing.
Lucifer doesn't receive as many items, but they sure take a turn when his soulmate finds his real vocation. He knows his soulmate needs to sin in order to meet him in Hell, but did it have to be murder?
It takes them a lifetime to meet, but, until then, they learn what they can about the other through what they inadvertently, or perhaps purposefully, lose.

Summary
“My heat is next month,” Alastor begins, starting to pluck at the stray hair of Keekee’s from the fluff of the sweater.
Lucifer nods slowly, hands squeezing where they’re wrapped around his upper arms. “I know,” he says easily, “I’ve got my old room just about set up again. Did you need something more for your nest? I can sleep in the same pajamas for a few nights for you… Maybe a few pairs in case the first one loses the scent too quickly.”
The tightness around Alastor’s eyes grows, and barely-there glow of green at the upper corners of his mouth begins to show.
“Um, or not!” Lucifer exclaims, throwing his hands up in front of him. "Shit, sorry, I just assumed—”
“I don’t want that,” the demon bites out, causing that sinking feeling in Lucifer’s stomach to make another appearance. He seems to realize how that sounds, since he hurriedly follows it up with, “I want you there with me.”

And so began Lucifer’s new ritual, desperate for Alastor to know there was someone on the other side of that cold bedroom door. Every day he spoke through the wood, and every day he received no answer. But Lucifer could wait. He would spend days talking to an empty hallway. Weeks memorizing the touch of a door that never opened pressed against his back. Months watching shadows shaped like the two of them play along the walls, keeping each other company in the absence of Alastor.

“Relax, Al.” Lucifer said as he pulled his belt off. He folded the leather in half and gestured at Alastor with it.
“You may wanna bite down on this.” Lucifer said, handing it to him. Alastor did so, before resting his hands in the sheets at his sides.
Lucifer prepared the needle and thread, before instructing Alastor to not look. He rolled his eyes at that.
“Deep breath.” Lucifer said, before pushing the needle through his skin. Alastor’s teeth sank into the leather of the belt and his claws tore the sheets as he tried to keep still.

Summary
Alastor has done everything in his power to hide his status as an Omega. Scent blockers, suppressants - anything he can get his hands on to hide what he believes is an inexcusable flaw.
Lucifer has never experienced what it's like to go through a heat. As an angel, he wasn't created with a designation, and he loves Alastor for who he is regardless of his secondary gender.
When Alastor's suppressants fail and he attempts to struggle through his first heat in nearly a century alone, they must both make a choice: Alastor, to place his trust in Lucifer; and Lucifer, to do anything it takes to see Alastor through his heat.

Determined, Lucifer opens the door and pushes his way inside the dark room.
Immediately, Alastor’s scent consumes him. Without the door to dilute it, the full scope of his partner’s predicament becomes quite clear to Lucifer.
He’s in heat. There’s no question of it. And not just at the start- no. He’s in the thick of it. A day or so along if the potency is anything to go by.
Lucifer can’t believe he didn’t realize sooner. But then- Alastor has never had a heat while Lucifer has known him. He’s never smelled this particular scent mingled with his Alastor’s own, never knew to pick it out amongst the many lingering scents in the hotel.
Or: In which Alastor goes into heat and thinks he has to face it all on his own. Spoiler- he doesn’t.

Summary
The extermination was 3 months ago, and Lucifer and Alastor had been dating for 2 of those. They were close, sleeping in the same bed, being affectionate in front of their coworkers (no PDA of course), and being generally open about their relationship status with the public.
Lucifer often indulged in the physical affection offered by Alastor. Today, he was feeling more touchy than normal it seemed to Alastor, but his mind may have been biased due to his own discomfort.
After having been alone for so many years, Lucifer loved touching Alastor. He always wanted hugs, and kisses, to hold hands, to lean on the other, to sit next to each other so their legs touched. Lucifer seemingly always wanted to touch Alastor, which the radio demon was normally okay with, but today he found he couldn’t do it.
However, though he refused to admit it aloud, Alastor truly did deeply care for Lucifer. He didn’t want to hurt the fallen angel's feelings. So, he held his tongue, despite his increasingly overwhelming discomfort.
Through all of Lucifer’s touches, Alastor still tried to give subtle non-verbal cues that he was uncomfortable. However, he forgot to account for one thing… Lucifer is oblivious as fuck.

Lucifer had become a permanent resident at the hotel, an act declared bravely as Alastor’s new studio and an apple shaped dome flanked the soaring structure. Alastor hadn’t had any say in the matter, what with being mortally wounded by the First Man and all.
Despite their budding relationship, he would and could, complain about the tacky interior as much as he wanted, thank you very much. Never before had the leather couches in the foyer been quite so creaky as they were currently. Colour be damned, he could at least conjure something comfortable to sit one’s behind on!

Catching him overhearing a conversation in the rebuilt hotel's foyer, Lucifer proposes a bet Alastor simply cannot refuse. What follows the bet tosses Alastor in way over his head in more ways than one.Series
