That was… relieving to write. Now you know the truth, and though I'm mostly sure you feel the same, I can't be completely certain yet unless I ask. If you end up reading this, maybe I finally had enough with our "pushing the line" game, or maybe I just finally wanted to tell you all that I wish to let you know (at least, all that I could put into words… you make me speechless, sometimes).

It was quiet, and it was tense.
Another beat of silence passed before George gently cleared his throat to get Dream’s attention back on him. When green eyes met brown and blue, George finally spoke, “What the fuck?”
“G-George I-”
“No,” George’s shoulders raised to his ears as he grabbed at the air in front of him angrily. “What the fuck, Dream?! You hid yourself from me?!”
Dream stammered out broken words and motioned to his face as it started to heat up with a confused flush of pink, hands awkwardly hovering in the air as he tried to find words.
“I don’t mean the fucking mask, Dream,” George said. He motioned towards him. “I mean you. You’re a hybrid?! A fucking Warden at that?!”

There, sat at the beautiful sleek black piano, was George. His eyes were closed in concentration as his fingers danced across the keys with gentle ease, playing just past the two minute mark now. He seemed a little tense, but Dream didn't really acknowledge it, too captivated by the beauty that was George playing his instrument.

Dream and George don't really know each other, but Dream still offers him a ride home when they meet, and George still confides in him after school weeks after that -

“George,” Dream sighed and looked down.
“Come on, I know it’s stupid, but I think it’ll get your mind off of whatever’s troubling you.” George insisted. His eyes softened ever-so-slightly when Dream met his eyes again. “Plus, I wanna dance with you.”
Recognition flashed through viridian eyes, and Dream offered George the faintest smile. “Alright, I’ll humor you.”

“What is what?” Kaveh asks, quickly. Far, far too quickly.
“That.” Alhaitham reaches forward, then. He grabs Kaveh’s chin and directs the other man’s gaze towards three hearts that have drifted off to Alhaitham’s right.
“O-oh,” Kaveh chokes out, torn between mortified and exceedingly overwhelmed. He has some explaining to do.
Kaveh temporarily suffers from a strange illness where hearts appear whenever his emotions are at a high. Lucky for him, those hearts seem to have a thing for Alhaitham. Go figure.

Summary
At St. Jude’s Academy, Kaelix stands as the model student: Student Council President, top of his class, and always impeccably dressed. His perfect facade is a survival mechanism to hide the abuse he endures from Principal Miller and his father's business associates. To his dismay, Kaelix is assigned to tutor Zeal, the school's outcast and supposed "terror." Zeal has accepted the world's label as a Monster and Trash and decided that if he’s going to be "trash," he’ll be the most dangerous trash in the room. Through their lessons and time together they start to learn more about one another, and learn that they need each other id they want to survive this school.

“Zeal! You came!” Kaelix throws himself at him for a hug. He is a strategic genius. Now he gets to avoid eye contact for a minute while he calms down. “Freo and Seible abandoned us,” he pouts into Zeal’s shoulder.
“Wow! That’s quite the welcome. So it’s just us, huh? Well, we can have fun all on our own. We don’t need them to have a good time.”
Or
Kaelix hosts a By the Beat sleepover and only Zeal shows up. It is a perfectly normal and platonic time until it is not.
