A being is born from the shadow cast by the light that gave birth to everything, but they are not welcome. The Creator is furious that their great creation made a creature they themselves did not wish for and have no control over. They curse the little shadow, condemning it to an eternal life trapped on the Earth and forced to direct the hateful energy of the humans called the Vile. Left unchecked, it will eat a person's mind from the inside until the afflicted human is forced to make the pain stop...permanently.
