Neither she nor Roger are entirely in their element yet, and both are grieving the loss of their husband/father, Art. But Poppy's new teacher, Mr Smith, seems like he might be the sort of fellow who could really help some New Scots settle into life in the small rural town of Tayburn.

The TARDIS has unexpectedly materialised here (bloody typical...). The Doctor and Tegan are the only crew members on the ship who are of age and not related by blood. Therefore, they have to fall in line with Erosian rules.
Pity they can't stand one another.
