Summary
William was the kind of English teacher students either admired or feared. He carried himself with quiet authority, always impeccably dressed in dark slacks, crisp button-downs, and reading glasses that he would slide down the bridge of his nose whenever he lectured about literature with too much passion to hide. To most students, he was intimidatingly intelligent. To others, he was simply strict.
To Est, he was an obsession.
William's marriage was dying.

Est has a very simple checklist for survival:
- Keep his daughter, Abel, happy and fed.
- Accept that life is better when it's quiet, predictable, and lonely.
- Remember that Alphas are aggressive, unreliable idiots who only know how to leave.
So far, it’s working. He keeps his head down and his heart under lock and key.

Summary
Est lives his life like a military operation.
Everything has a schedule, a place, and a correct way to exist. He likes his routines the way oxygen likes being essential—strict, non-negotiable, and personally offensive if interrupted. He likes silence, order, and people who know how to stay out of his way.
Unfortunately for him, William exists.
A disaster with zero respect for Est’s blood pressure. Personal space? Optional. Boundaries? Decorative. William keeps appearing in every corner of Est’s carefully planned life like an annoying cockroach that refuses to die with that same grin that could steal hearts.
William insists it’s destiny, Est is convinced it’s a curse.
Which is exactly why Est has no idea how a simple literature review somehow escalated into him sitting on William’s lap kissing him like there would be bonus points afterward.
And the worst part?
William looks at him like this had always been the final answer, and Est—just missed the whole entire lecture.
