Ace was six-years-old when he learned who his father was. He was six-years-old and he already knew he was a murderer.
That was the day that Ace vowed that the curse he'd been born with wouldn't be passed on. He may have been a child himself but he knew enough about the world already to know that it hated him and his blood and that it would be just cruel to subject anyone else to his sure to be terrible fate. He was six-years-old and he already knew he would die young.
Ace was fifteen-years-old when he presented and once his mind returned all he could do was cry. Because the curse he'd been born with wasn't enough in fate's cruel eyes and now he had presented as an omega and all the world saw them as good for was to bear young. He had already sworn off love and a family at six and now, he might not get a choice. Omegas didn't get a choice.

The silence stretched between them then, thick and awkward. Not because they had nothing to say; because they had too much. Too many questions neither wanted to voice first. Too many unspoken rules from Hell suddenly meaningless here.
Vox finally stood, joints cracking in protest. Annoying. Stupid human body. “Look. All I know is we woke up like this. On Earth. Together. With all our memories and none of our powers. So, congratulations, deer boy, you’re stuck with me.”
Alastor pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply through his teeth. “Let me get this straight. I have been forcibly deposited into a mortal vessel, next to you, with no warning, no explanation, and no immediate means of escape?”
“That’s the gist,” Vox said.
Alastor stared at him.
Then laughed.
Or Alastor and Vox find themselves trapped in Purgatory with human bodies.

Summary
Alastor considered the eager and rash freshly fallen sinner from the past, the confident one that slaughtered an overlord that very day, hours prior, and the happy television demon that hummed along to music sitting in front of him now.
Somehow, Vox hadn’t lost his eagerness and sincerity with the growth of power and violence over the years; something Alastor oftentimes knew he, himself, had lost sight of, arguably before he had even fallen.
Witnessing such authenticity, such merriment mixed with strategic violence, had Alastor realize the eagerness within himself to continue to witness Vox adapt and evolve. He didn’t need the television demon there, not for power nor entertainment, he simply wanted—longed for—Vox to be by his side for as long as the other was willing.
His eyes softened at the sound of Vox having started to hum happily to the tune of the radio demon’s favorite song. An easy humming that showed care by knowing the melody intimately.
Perhaps it was time for Alastor to finally allow himself to be inundated with want of something for a change.

Alastor struggles to court Vox when being aroace. Vox is oblivious.

Determined to replicate that success, he pays a visit to the offices of 93.3 KYLL-FM to meet the host— who seems wholly unimpressed by his power and fame, and his offer to let Alastor share in it. Determined not to be outshone by the proclaimed prince of radio, Vincent says he'll just buy the station for himself and make Alastor his employee. Al doesn't like that. He decides that perhaps Vincent Whittman needs to return to New York City— in a body bag. But things take a turn when the god of entertainment proves he's not just a handsome face and charming voice.

His attempts to turn Alastor’s simmering hatred to begrudging affection fail entirely, until a nighttime middle-of-the-swamp meet-weird (and some erotic knifeplay) over a corpse.
Follow two serial killers figuring out what kind of life they can build together. They meet each other's families, navigate the question of how Vox has evaded consequences for so long, and settle into something real. Underneath the domesticity, Alastor carries a 20-year-old score to settle, and when he finally gets the info he's been waiting for, he drags Vox into it with him.
A story of revenge, family drama, a soul-binding, uncovering each other’s closely-held pasts, through the slow and painful work of two people learning to be known, and eventually toward the question neither of them thought they'd answer: what does a future look like for people who never planned to have one?

Immediately smitten by Mr. Hartfelt, but completely doomed, Vox tries a new nightclub where he meets a beautiful woman, Alice Starhart, known for her beautiful singing voice, red coat and tight buttons. By some cosmic joke, Alastor and Alice tell him they are brother and sister. Vox finds himself in a love triangle with the brother and sister pair, completely torn between his feelings for them.
Only to find out…they might be closer than brother and sister.

He thinks he might be hallucinating, actually, and that the last few days of his life have been one really long drug-induced trip, some sort of weird fantasy in the back of his mind making its way to the forefront. He’s into some freaky shit — he wouldn’t be all that surprised, truthfully.
But, Nam-gyu isn’t stupid, and no matter how hard he tries to convince himself otherwise, he knows the difference between what’s real and what’s not. He knows that he’s currently sitting shirtless in front of Thanos, his good friend for over a year now, attached at the hip ever since getting out of the death games together, and he also knows that Thanos is holding a camera and taking pictures of him shirtless, like he’s capturing a cover shot for a porno you’d find stuffed in the back of DVD rental shops.
(Thanos needs to come up with a cover for his new album. Nam-gyu makes the perfect model)

“If you want to sleep with one of your goddamn groupies,” Nam-gyu starts with a deep scowl. Thanos’s face twists with baffled confusion, “then just fucking say so. But after you fuck your slut, don’t come crawling back to my goddamn apartment pretending you give a single shit about me, you fucking asshole.”
“I have no fucking clue what you’re talking about!” Thanos exclaims, frustrated as he looks up at the man on his lap.
“Is that why you wanted me to come to the concert?” Nam-gyu asks, continuing to rile himself up as he tries to twist out of his boyfriend’s hold. Thanos’s grip just tightens. “So that I could hear how those whores were all but dropping their panties for you and then connect the dots myself? You’re a conceited, arrogant son of a bitch, Thanos, I swear to fucking—”
Before he can continue, Thanos shoves the tip of the pink vape into his mouth, eyes narrowed dangerously and lips curled into a frown.
