Summary
He didn't remember the last war he fought as clearly as he thought he would. That was surprising considerinig it was when his final battle took place, and therefore one of his most recent memories of before. But that wasn't new. Most of his battles, after some time, ended up as nothing more than impresions of emotions with no concrete memories. But one thing he did remember with startling clarity were the eyes of those that called themselves Gods. Their eyes colder than the land he grew up in, even colder than the lawles plane of non-existance he grew up in. (And he still remembered that place as clear as if it was yesterday that he fell) Colder than anything he has ever expirienced as they wiped away the last of what was important to him. After that... after that it was nothing but hazy emotions. The despair, the anger, the sheer anguish and finaly... aceptance. Defeated aceptance that it will never be the same. That he will never get back what he lost. That is why he vowed this time to protect them with everything he has. Even if it means going against Gods once again.
For he is their protector now.
He is Kurosaki Ichigo and he will not lose his family - not again.

[Hyuse and Yuma stared blankly at the box held out in front of them. Yuma blinked up to its holder, Jin, and asked “What are these things?”
Jin grinned and set the box down. He rummaged through it while the two neighbors looked on in slight confusion, and annoyance in Hyuse’s case. “Ah-hah!” Jin let out as he held up something small and thin triumphantly. Yuma’s eyes widened a fraction at its design.
---Yuma’s eyes narrowed as he watched Hyuse, who had his normal indifferent expression on his face. Mostly normal. Yuma could see the smugness in there. He let his hand fall and land on the edge of the sticker box.
This meant war.]
Yuma and Hyuse got their hands on stickers, given by none other than the number 1 trouble maker of Tamakoma.
They quickly challenge Jin for that spot.

Because he’d needed to look clean and presentable to get into the public libraries. Because they wouldn’t have let a dirty homeless kid touch the books.

“Divine trouble? Greek trouble?” Chiron nods, stroking his chin gravely. Percy’s pretty sure he’s only doing it for dramatic affect. “Oh yes, Percy. Mortal trouble? You are unfortunately on your own for that, I’m afraid. As long as you avoid the Batman, you should be fine.”
Percy stares at him.
“The Batman is real?” He asks finally, afraid of the answer. Chiron just turns back to the fire again, though Percy definitely saw a twinkle in his eye. Stupid old horse.
(Or, Percy Jackson needs to get away from it all. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to get away from him. Was anyone going to tell him the Batman is real?)
