Kei has this amused glint in his eyes that he gets when he sees Euijoo flustered. Apparently the reaction makes him want to tease Euijoo even further. So Kei leans in to whisper like he’s letting Euijoo in on a little secret, “Nico is sweet once he spreads his legs so you don’t have to worry about him teasing you.”
“That’s not—“ Euijoo splutters, eyes wide with surprise and desperation to defend himself. He willfully fights the image of Nicholas under him, legs wrapped around his waist and looking up from his lashes expectantly.
(Or: Nicholas is bad at dealing with his heat, Euijoo in turn suffers along with him.)

Nicholas and Maki have known each other since they were five years old. As the sons of two of the richest alphas in the country, their lives had already been planned long before they were out of diapers: grow up, present as perfect alphas, and inherit both family empires, leading them while preserving the long-standing alliance between their companies. Maki managed it without any trouble at thirteen. But Nicholas, on the other hand... he went through fourteen, fifteen, and even sixteen without a single sign! He was already going crazy with his father constantly comparing him to all the other presented teenagers.

The shadows near the bed seemed to deepen under his bound gaze, rising to gather around the margins of the boy’s form with the slow fluidity of ink bleeding through water, pooling into the creases of the sheets to swallow the sharp contours of his throat, as though the darkness had become a silhouette.
Euijoo had never learned to see what his aunt saw between shadow and light, but he had always sensed when rooms became too full despite standing empty, an instinct forged in the incense-choked hours of his childhood, leaving him with the unmistakable awareness of a presence expanding past the boy’s stillness without boundary.
He thought he had long become used to accidental glimpses beyond the skin of the world as he knew it, but a forgotten dread seemed to rise inside his chest at the realisation that the darkness crowding the sleeping boy had turned its gaze to him.
Euijoo gazed back through a feeling far more frightening: the dawning certainty that he had not arrived here by coincidence, only reached, at last, a place that had been waiting for him long before he understood he was walking toward it.
