The young omega, glancing left and right between the two alphas, alphas that have been friends for ages, didn’t think this could get any worse.
And then Shane walked in.
However, before Shane could even spot them Ilya held up his hand in front of his eyes.
“Don’t look, Shane. This will break your heart.”
Which were the first words being said and Luca could only brace for the worst with that kind of starter line.
Shane, meanwhile, put off by all the alarmed scents mixing together in the room, merely side stepped Ilya’s hand, the alpha momentarily protesting but it was already too late.
Just like Ilya Shane spotted them instantly, eyes slightly widening at the picture the pair made. “Wait what…Luca and…Cliff!?”

Grace and Rocky encounter another human on their journey back to Erid and it goes something like this:
“Oh sorry that’s kinda rude of us, right? Rocky is an Eridian from the planet Erid. I’ve been learning to be more fluent in the language, full immersion usually works best, at least according to linguistics, and-"
“Grace rambling. Note: Human act stupid around potential mate.”
Grace’s face flushed and he shoved at Rocky’s ball while the man cocked his head to the side, fully confused by the whole sight.
“Shut up, man,” he hissed at his best friend, making Rocky cackle.
“Again, I’m sorry! Look, we haven't met anyone else out here for ages. You’re kind of a miracle to us.”
“You’re kind of an angel to me,” the man then said, voice rough.

Summary
Since he was a little boy Shane had despised the feeling of feeling powerless. As an omega he was faced with closed door after closed door and the frustration only grew the older he got.

Well turns out Luca has the most possible bad streak of luck on that very night. Instead he comes face to face with the mate of Ilya Rozanov.

Summary
Shane loved his profession and was thankful he got to do what he loved even as an omega. Shane had played that role as a professional hockey player for years and in the meantime pushed his role as omega to the very back. Never to be acknowledged, never to define him.
However, when Ilya Rozanov came into his life and with him uncovered every bit of Shane's omega self piece after piece, Shane's inner feelings about his omega self began to change. Now he grew to love being called an omega, grew to love being scented and basked in the knowledge of Ilya, his alpha, wanting every part of him.
Yet, ever since they finally got their shit together, began to officially date, Shane's thoughts began to wander to certain places.
People would probably call it 'baby fever', Shane would call it bullshit.
