Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.

✰ alastor and vox have a sleepover at voxs apartment and vox insists the two watch a movie on the tv, which alastor initially resists, due to his hatred of modern technology, or any technology past his death, but eventually gives in seeing how excited vox is about it. they have popcorn and fall asleep cuddling. in the quiet of his apartment, with the glow of his screen as their only light, it's easily to forget that this is still the 1950's—and that some truths are still too dangerous to say out loud.

“W-welcome back, darli̴ng.” Alastor didn’t look at him; the deer was staring at the floor, hands twisting in the red fabric of his dress. His left wrist was bandaged up, but some blood had seeped through the binding.
Vox hurried inside, taking Alastor’s hand in his own. “Sweetheart, what happened to you!?”
“I- I was making dinner and- and the knife slipped.”
It didn’t look like a just a slip of the knife; the damage was to the wrist, not the fingers. This was not how people usually cut themselves cooking. Vox bit his lip. Had Alastor tried to hurt himself again? Vox had thought his wife was past that now. “... you need to be more careful, precious.”
What starts as a normal evening ends in disaster.

By some cosmic joke, Alastor and Alice tell him they are brother and sister. Vox finds himself in a love triangle with the brother and sister pair, completely torn between his feelings for them.
Only to find out…they might be closer than brother and sister.
