    While in England, Miles Edgeworth receives a call. Unable to answer, he lets it go to voicemail. That voicemail changes his life. Across the Atlantic Ocean, Phoenix Wright wakes up with the worst hangover of his life. He thinks he called Edgeworth last night, but he doesn’t remember why or what he said. Hopefully it wasn’t anything weird.

    “Hey, Edgeworth,” slurred Phoenix Wright, drawing out the y sound in hey, like a flirtatious young woman. “How ya doin’, buddy? Thought—thought I’d give you a call. But it looks like I missed ya. Just my luck.” He sighed, and Miles could practically smell the alcohol on his breath through the speaker.

    “I… I know, I just,” Wright paused to collect his thoughts. “I’m worried about you, Edgeworth. I really am. I think there’s more going on inside your head than you’re letting on. I just… I just wanna help.”
    “I don’t need your help,” Edgeworth quickly said, before the pain in his chest made him say anything different.

    After the final trial of Turnabout Goodbyes, the DL-6 case is closed once and for all. But Miles Edgeworth is still haunted by guilt and memories of his abusive childhood. Luckily, Phoenix Wright is there to help him, no matter what.

    Trucy is determined to track down this 'friend' -- Miles Edgeworth.

    And, she's willing to travel internationally without parental consent to bring him back to the States.

    This is an awful plan.
