Summary
Hans stands in the sudden silence of their room, reeling at what the hell just happened. He had been sure they would make it work, somehow. It’s not like he wouldn’t worry about what might happen were they to be caught, or feel good about being unfaithful to his wife. Being unfaithful to Henry, even if not by choice. But the alternative is…
Hans swallows. The alternative is unthinkable. Maybe he wouldn’t really die, like Galehaut in the story. Maybe he would even make peace with it, one day. But…
He’s always known his happiness and his duty would likely end up at odds. It never really occurred to him that it might not be an option to pursue both.
As the dust of Suchdol settles, and with Hans' betrothal and inevitable return to Rattay looming over them, Hans and Henry must work out what the future holds - and whether they will face it together. Can Hans find a way to hold onto his title and his duty, while keeping Henry at his side? Or is it time to decide what really matters to him?
Featuring a lot of talking through events of the games, quite a bit of smut, and a smattering of hurt/comfort.

Summary
It's been a tumultuous couple of years for Stede since the divorce. After moving 'across the ditch' to Australia to buy a rare books shop, he's had to learn how to navigate remote parenting and manage a small business while getting set up in an unfamiliar city. Now he's had the bright idea to go back to uni part time, to finally get that law degree his father had been convinced was a waste of time in his youth. It's a bit of a slog on top of everything else, but as the hard work pays off it's nice to feel like things are going right for the first time in a long while. Especially when he meets an absolutely fascinating guy at the coffee shop next door to work - one his classmate Lucius would definitely term a 'silver fox'.
Ed's been busting his ass in academia for two decades, and he's finally managed to take a full year's sabbatical to write another book and get away from the relentless cycle of new students and new complaints. Little does he know that a law student is still going to manage to be the biggest source of upheaval in his life.

Summary
Ed and Stede find out they’re not as alone on their new island as they might have thought. This turns out to be a very good thing, especially when it becomes clear that pirate life is not quite done with the pair of them.
A 'season three' style what-if.
Ed nudges Stede’s arm suddenly, and points south. It takes Stede a moment, but he stares in surprise when he spots what Ed has. The presence of the ruined shack itself, standing along a scuffed sandy trail, should probably have been a clue — but Stede still manages to be startled by the sight of a small cluster of buildings on the eastern side of the bay.
“Guess it’s not so deserted after all,” Ed says.
Stede frowns a little. “Is that… okay, do you think?”
Ed shrugs. “Sure? I mean, we might need to go check it out, see what the vibe is.”
“Oh, if there’s people around the island – that could be customers for the inn!” Stede beams.

Summary
Dan shivers, can't help himself. Dumb, animal fear, and he wants to bare his throat to it. “What are you – ”
“I promised,” Hess whispers. “I promised. But just this, alright? It'll be like it never happened.” He slides a step nearer, the pressure of his fingers hard and greedy. “It won't matter.”
After the apocalypse doesn't quite happen, Daniel Waters is just trying to return to his nice, quiet life. What he gets instead is a new neighbour. Hess is friendly, charming and working with demons. He's also strangely familiar.
There are gaps in Dan's memory, but that doesn't seem to matter. They say the devil always looks after his own, and apparently?
Well, apparently Dan belongs to the devil.

Summary
Thomas Fenwick did not ask much of the world; a roof over his head, food in his stomach. He was a simple creature. He trusted the conventional and enjoyed the familiar.
Albert Peyton, of course, was neither conventional nor familiar.

Summary
Hans pulled the door close behind him and lingered under the shelter the small balcony offered, arms folded tight against the chill, his expression caught between suspicion and amusement.
“Has it happened? Have you finally lost your mind?”
Henry turned around, rain already dripping from his lashes, hair plastered to his face. Instead of answering, he bowed low and swept an arm out in invitation.
“May I have this dance, Sir Hans?”
Hans stared at him, rain beginning to speckle his shoulders.
“I thought we weren’t supposed to.”
Henry tilted his head. “Who’s going to see? The horses?”
Hans gave a soft snort but didn’t move.
“Afraid I’m the better dancer, my lord?”
_
After Suchdol, Hans and Henry return to the Devil’s Den, where they must relearn their relationship from the start. Or: five times they thought they were being subtle, and one time they discovered they weren’t.
