Summary
After losing contact with the team Rook lead to follow Magister Alexius into the south. Neve sets out to track down and possibly rescue her partner. Neve just wants to find Rook she did not sign up to be a religious figure, but when has the world ever cared what Neve wanted.
This not time travel it’s a massive au where Rook completed all of the companion quests pre-canon, and also got exiled from every faction mostly for the canon reasons.
I’ll probably make a separate fic that just summarizes Rook’s lore.
This is my first fic constructive criticism is appreciated but please be nice.

But the Conclave never had a chance to begin.A catastrophic explosion ripped through the temple, killing all those present, including the Divine herself. Somehow, Mahanon survived. He awoke alone among the ruins; a strange green mark seared into his hand and no memory of how he escaped. Rumors spread quickly—some claimed they had seen Andraste, guiding him out of the blast.
Taken into custody by the Inquisition, Mahanon learned that the mark on his hand was the only thing capable of sealing the rifts tearing open across Thedas. Determined to protect his people and the world beyond them, he committed himself to closing the Breach and aiding the organization. In time, he became known as the Herald of Andraste, and the Inquisitor.
