He was relieved that Butters would be able to forget last night and now, here he is, remembering every single moment. He doesn’t know why he’s always dying and he doesn’t know why he’s always coming back and he doesn’t know why Butters remembers and- Wait, has Butters ever even seen him die before last night? Was-
Surely it couldn’t have been. Kenny dies so often that Butters must’ve been witness to it at some point before last night, right?
Right?
Maybe last night was his first time, though. Maybe he’s never seen it before and maybe if he had seen it earlier, he’d have remembered then too.
“Okay, so,” Kenny isn’t really sure where to start but he takes off his hood and studies Butters’ face for a moment, he’s clearly confused and distraught, “I die.”
