Lighter continued to stare down at him and finally Wise managed to speak.

Lighter moved his thumb so that it was pressing against his mouth.

Wise whined and nodded desperately. He pawed clumsily at the air so that he could grab Lighter’s arm. It didn’t do him much good. The world around him was so sickly syrupy that he could only keep a loose grasp on it.
“Then be a good ‘mega and take yer punishment.”
