Summary
After the war, Draco Malfoy rebuilds his life as a Gringotts curse-breaker, earning a Charms Mastery and leading a team to unlock the 3,500 year old tomb of Pharaoh Setkhai—a tomb designed to judge the worth of its intruders. Cliff knew that this probably violated the promise he made to Roz when he had given him a spare key. It was for emergencies only. He hoped he kept his key privileges after tonight.
Because throwing a surprise pizza/movie night in Roz’s own home for when he returned to Boston from his father’s funeral in Russia? That probably didn’t count as an emergency.
But fuck it. Roz was his best friend, and while his father may have sucked, it’s still awful losing a parent. Roz should have his friends here, waiting to support him when he gets back.
The only thing that could make this better was if Cliff knew who Jane was, so she could be here for him too.
