“Wow, full government name and everything,” Techno deadpanned.

or, or, technoblade and wilbur have unresolved friendship drama (techno would very much not like to think about that, please and thank you), tommy is being a menace to society (as per usual), and philza has no idea what's happening but he's here for the ride (there's totally not any accidental adoption going on there)

Tommy sighed, “Mugging is not a justifiable excuse for lateness though, he’ll never believe I got mugged again.”
The mugger spoke up from where he was holding Tommy at knifepoint, “You just looked like a very muggable person, I don’t know what to tell you.”

“Sorry guys,” Tommy cut in, “But I’m a bit confused. Who the fuck are you?”
From next to him, he vaguely heard Ranboo mumble something along the lines of, “Can you just stop talking?” but Tommy chose to mishear this as “Can you please keep talking?” and barrelled ahead.
“Do you not know who I am?” the new person said, “I feel like I’m a pretty recognisable figure.”
“No? Why the fuck do people keep saying that? Why would I possibly know who you are? You both just look like weirdass grown men playing dress up in stupid outfits.”
Tommy was pretty sure he heard another mumbled shut up from behind the counter. He chose to ignore it.

“Oh fuck off, it would be hilarious if they knew it was me. Maybe not you, but me.” With that declaration, Phil promptly flipped off the closest camera. It was probably fine. They were always going to know it was Phil, the wings were a dead giveaway. This was a great stealth mission.

“That’s shit.” Siren, the infamous supervillain, actually sounds like he’s sympathizing with him.

“So, what are you fighting about?”
Tommy raises a brow. “Do you expect me to give you my life story or some shit?”
“Yes.” Siren delicately claps his hands together. It was a gesture far too childish for a supervillain

wow. this was just so well written? like the writing is so fast paced and literally breathtaking. i started reading this fic ages ago AND WHY DID I NOT FINISH IT IT'S LITERALLY SO GOOD WHAT.
anyways the chess aspect is so well integrated into the fic, as someone who is horrible at chess i absolutely loved this to pieces. also just the fact that it's tubbo centric is amazing because it's literally such a cool insight into what tubbo's thinking and how he views the world and all the people around him, the character dynamics between everyone was just so well written and there are so many little details i may have to do a reread soon because holy shit it's simply too good.

In which Technoblade is a warlord/world conqueror without a heart. It’s ok though, Tommy will be his heart.
(Or AU in which Techno is taking over the world and he takes Tommy as heir with the intention of using him as a way to win over the realm. Thing is his plan works a little too well because even he ends up loving Tommy too.)

fae wilbur, techno and phil adopt tommy because of found family reasons. very beautifully written and so soft and cute, i love them all so much. ahhhh it's just all so lovely and adorable and makes me go awww i feel like this would be such a good comfort fic
