Summary
I chose Sanghelios. Walked down the ramp, held his hand in the sun, let the dress whites stay folded. That was the easy part.
Turns out, choosing a planet is simpler than living on one. The gravity's wrong, the food's unidentifiable. I still can't find the laundry.
Thel has a vision. Every Keep, every species, united under one alliance. It's ambitious and it's making him enemies in his own Conclave. My job was supposed to be simple: stand beside him and try not to break anything.
Yeah. Right.
I'm learning the protocol and the politics. I'm also learning that the most dangerous person on this planet runs a household, not a fleet.
And underneath all of it, the UNSC is kind of pissed off I'm here. Fleet Command's messages are piling up. ONI's asking questions I don't want to answer.
At some point I need to decide whose skin I'm shedding.

Summary
The Arbiter's initial studies of human culture didn't happen after the Great Schism; he's figured out things about their species through long observation and plenty of patience. He'll acknowledge their new alliance gives him plenty of resources to fall back on when he doesn't understand something. Frankly, he doesn't get a LOT of the customs these people have.
But it's good to increase his knowledge: as a curious Sangheili, he has many burning questions, ones he's harbored for years that ought to be answered at long last. There's only one problem he's got no hope of fixing.
See, he REALLY wishes he could figure out if this 'bond' with his enemy-turned-ally is purely platonic, or he's instigated a serious courtship between them. Chief is being rude in not clearing up the matter but then again, the Arbiter is kind of shitty at clarifying what his questions are.
Misunderstanding is in plenty but were it so easy to understand one another's intentions, then they'd never learn how to become each other's equal.

Shepard had had a tough life. She found some good friends and has made some annoying enemies. Her life is complicated but enjoyable. Routine mission after mission, working up the N ranks. Her most recent mission to Akuze seems routine, and she even met a cute turian before she shipped out. Looking forward to meeting up with him after her mission, Shepard heads out, not knowing how this one mission will shape her future with the Alliance. Her best friend, Toombs, seems excited to work with her again. “At least the planet has a cool name. Akuze. Definitely sounds like something I could get tattooed on me once we get back. Maybe come up with a cool story about how I won a fight there."

Even in the past life he wasn’t that much of a believer, but he had to give the goddess credit for this one - he couldn't have possibly settled if he were given a different name. Ever since he had been a small chick and didn’t know any better, he was always sure of one thing: that he was Revali.

Revali works hard for what he's got, what he's done, and what he's going to do. He owes it to his Elder, in the very least. Why, WHY does that insufferable knight have to be so fucking perfect? So effortless. Whatever. Mind over matter. Nothing will ever overcome Revali, established Pride and Champion of the Rito. Especially not his own mind and body.
OR:
Revali pushes himself much too hard, and for literally NO REASON. SO when the champions try and talk some sense into him he genuinely crashes out for some reason. Guess you'll have to find out why.

Being sent to the Rito in the dead of winter is a punishment. Link is ostensibly relieving the longtime Hylian military attaché, so this could be construed a promotion—but for the timing.
Another birthday has come and gone, and still he has not presented. And even though everyone expects him to be appointed the Princess’s knight, one thing is for sure—the King will never select anyone but an alpha. And he certainly won’t trust his only child with someone who hasn’t even presented yet. Maybe it would be different if Link had the sword that seals the darkness, but he doesn’t.

Summary
It's been 10 years since Sonic last saw Shadow, and in that decade, life had not been kind. He's stumbling through adulthood with no sense of direction or purpose, crumbling under the existential dread of aging, and to top it off, is suffering through an exhausting divorce process. Just as his whole world seems to be collapsing around him, however, an old friend returns... And might just be the lifeline he didn't realise he needed.
Now Sonic is having to navigate adulthood, heartbreak, grief and whatever these new (or maybe old) feelings are for his ex-rival. The strangest part is that Shadow seems to be the stable, emotionally competent one. What he doesn't know is that shadow is hiding a secret of his own- Ten years of feelings that he thought he'd let go of threatening to return.
This is a future-set Sonadow slow -burn where Sonic and Shadow reconnect after a decade of no contact. A mix of hurt/comfort, slice-of-life, humour, drama, fluff and spice (eventually). Themes include grief, romance, friendship, aging panic, unconditional love/care, and a flipped dynamic- Sonic is the one falling apart, and Shadow is the one who’s already healed.

Shadow wouldn't know this of course, since he was exempt from the habit, being born as the "Ultimate Lifeform" and whatnot. Sonic on the other hand, has always been very good at running from his problems.

Summary
Sonic's life is simple: fast, free, and blissfully childless. That ends the night a half-drowned hedgehog drags himself out of the sea and onto Sonic's doorstep, insisting he's travelled back in time and that in the future he came from they’re practically family.
The issue is that Sonic has never met this kid in his life, and has zero intentions of taking any newcomer hedgehogs under his wing — now, and in the future.
Sorting out a time-travel mess isn't easy, but it would be a hell of a lot easier if the process didn't involve asking for help from his ex-boyfriend. Shadow hasn't spoken to him since their explosive breakup, but he might just be the only person who can get Silver back home.
Providing he and Sonic can work together long enough not to kill each other, of course.
