wow. didnt think i could be this invested in some losers diary entries and doctor reports. but alas. and alack. here i am.
notes:
- really good characterization on will specifically. i dont understand how some people can look and local loser nerd and trauma guy #1 and go "yeah hed do well in a night club" (i think some of that is even a little homophobic at times but i digress)- good set up. i dont like cheating fics, as a rule, but here I sit and go "yeah i see how that could happen" (tho again, cheating = bad, even if youre a repressed gay. but im very sure that mr "im the worst" wheeler will not go through that without being devastated)
- good relationship building between will and mike. very believable as for reconnecting best friends
- interesting and complex character building on Maggie. Very often cheating fics make the partner insufferable or barely existing.
10/10 start to a fic im very intrigued

It's not jealousy. Adrian is adamant about that. They are actually insisting that it’s not any emotion at all. Not even dislike. They are simply completely uninterested in anything that concerns “the human”.
Rocky believes them. Adrian has always been the level-headed one out of the two of them. They are too logical to be jealous. They acknowledge that Grace and Rocky have a special bond after everything they went through together and also understand that none of that will ever pose a threat to their relationship.
Neither are they heartless or ungrateful. They know that Grace is the only reason that Rocky is back at all, the only reason their star has stopped dying. Adrian has told Rocky again and again that they are grateful and happy and wish the alien no ill will. They even helped with the construction of the biodome.
And yet they have no desire to get to know Grace.
