There's many aspects of their new house in Montauk that initially drew them in. For Joyce, among other things, the open natural light that shines into the front was what sealed the deal. Hopper liked that too, of course, but it quickly became apparent that he had his eyes on the hot tub in the spacious, private backyard.

Yet, tonight, she can’t stop smiling down at this new golden band on her ring finger. The way the diamond catches on the light and shines back up at her like it’s saying hello and calls her Joyce Hopper.
