George Styles-Tomlinson is fourteen. And people are throwing tings at his boy.
Harry pressed another kiss to his cheek just because he could, a palm lingering on the back of Louis' neck, playing softly with the ends of his hair there.
Louis made a poor attempt at hiding a smile, but leaned into his touch nonetheless. “Alright, soft lad. Enough of that.”
Harry hummed in response. He kept his hand precisely where it was and moved in to touch their foreheads together. “Never enough.”
Louis huffed out a laugh. “You're a cheesy fucker. You know that?” He inclined his head slightly as a gesture to the none too subtle attention they were drawing to themselves. “You're doing wonders for our reputation here.”
Harry took that as the invitation it was and nipped lightly at his left ear, voice a soft whisper. “We earned it.”

Robert doesn't have to ask where he is.
He knows, because it's going to be the same place he's found him any time there's a quiet moment this past week, at those times when Robert's gotten lost in catching up on the accounts, or been making dinner, or worse still been on a call with Jimmy about something or other, baby monitor always close at hand, half an ear out in case Seb wakes.
He doesn't say anything even though he knows Aaron has been switching the monitor off at those times. He doesn't have to hear (or not as the case may be) to know.
He knows.
Just like he knows now's the time to talk about it again. Because Aaron needs to hear it.

When Bucky had returned, he hadn't expected to win his daughter back. He hadn't expected to get an arm back. He hadn't expected to be able to build a life for himself, really. Almost a year, an approximate ton of therapy, and a new car later, he thinks he's doing okay. His daughter has earned a scholarship at one of those fancy schools in a sleepy town, and their apartment might be small but it's cosy and warm. He's expecting things will be fine, and they'll settle into a rhythm.
He's not expecting to meet an All-American Beefcake in the school parking lot, with a frankly obnoxious daughter to boot. Great. Just great.

Summary
Henry falls back on to the closed toilet seat, blinking down at the test in disbelief. His heart is beating so hard against his chest that it physically aches. His mouth is dry, teeth grinding together painfully. For some reason, he has to read the result on the test three times before it starts to settle.
And he remembers that night in the dorm bathroom, throwing up and crying and wondering how the hell he was going to do this on his own. He remembers the long nights, dealing with back pain so intense that it brought tears to his eyes, feeling her kick for the first time and having no one to share it with, going through what he now realizes was a bit of a traumatizing birth, all on his own.
It was the hardest thing he’s ever had to do.

“Bleeding.” Claire brings her chubby little hand up to point at his forehead.
Henry touches his cold fingers to his forehead, realizing the bandage he’d placed over his eyebrow has been bled through. He thinks he’s got more in the center console. He hopes.
“Daddy’s alright,” he assures her, finally snapping the buckle together over her puffy pink coat. He gives her the best smile he can muster. “Ready to go for a drive?”
Claire nods at him, big blue eyes inquisitive as he palms her hair, thumb brushing blonde locks off her forehead. “Where’s we goin’?”
“Somewhere better,” he says, and closes the back door tight.
