Summary

After a series of hijinks caused by their foster brother, Jax (Felix), Zooble crosses paths with the band and is offered to join, sparking a rivalry between Digital Revenge and Jax's band: The Abstractions.
This is primarily an Abstragedy fic with lots of Funnybunny flirting sprinkled in.

Riza stands by the half-open window. The light curtains lift and swell in the draft, as if breathing. From the garden drifts the heavy, humid scent of summer and the fresh smell of cut grass.
Roy can’t see Riza’s face, but he can hear the fear in her voice. Her elegant back is bare, her arms are crossed over her shoulders, fingers clutching her thin skin, kneading it in restless anticipation.
In the darkness, the crimson weave of symbols looks like an amorphous black stain, a lace crafted by a masterful hand.
Riza's shoulders tremble, as if from cold. She fights to stay composed, but she cannot deceive Roy.
She is afraid of pain.

For the entire time that Roy and Riza have done this, they’ve had three unspoken rules.
1) No kissing on the lips.
2) No talking during the act or about the act itself.
3) No staying the night. The first time they did it, just days after Roy burned the array off of Riza’s back, he made the mistake of staying, and they fell asleep facing away from each other- and when the sun rose the following morning, Roy didn’t say anything or offer so much as a glance, just got out of bed and put his clothes on before rushing out the door. The worst part? Riza had pretended to be asleep. Riza had acted like she didn’t hear the quiet click of the door shut. Riza had let it happen. And thus, their rules were silently written in stone.Tonight, Riza breaks rule number one.
