Summary
In a portion of the galaxy gripped by darkness, Supreme Leader Snoke has begun assembling a secret program: a legion of Force-sensitive women who are used to produce a new army of force sensitive children. Rey, a scavenger with an unusually high midi-chlorian count, is a special addition to the Harvest program.
Rey is chosen to bear the child of Kylo Ren, the Supreme Leader’s apprentice, to produce an heir destined to command the Force like no other. Stationed on the frozen world of Ilum, their paths begin to cross, first in fleeting glances, then in quiet conversations, and finally in undeniable connection.
As Kylo Ren hunts for the elusive Luke Skywalker, cracks form in his unwavering loyalty. Drawn inexplicably to Rey, he begins to question the purpose of his mission and the cost of his obedience. In a world of shadow and war, two forsaken souls find themselves drawing closer to each other.
