The Dixon's neighbor finds herself in a *bit* of a pickle before joining up with the brothers and the quarry group.
I'm not sure about the summary but the burn is slow and the eventual awkward hurt/comfort is a solid 6 out of 10 so enjoy.

From the tree line, the grey wolf faced out into the dark and stormy water. It was the only place that made him feel less lonely. He had asked to do the patrol alone today, and now he was happy for the peace. Last patrol he had sensed the storm coming and he was eager to watch it roll in. There was something about the waves that calmed him. Soothed his soul when he felt all consumed by nagging thoughts.
With his eyes trained on the water, he noticed a small black ball pop up out of the brine. Was it the tip of a rock? Some kelp floating to the surface. It wasn’t until it slowly turned around, its large chocolate eyes gazing into his, that he realized what it was.Had Embry Call just imprinted on a seal?
From her place in the water she gazed at the wolf. Far bigger than a natural wolf. She thought she was alone, she had encountered witches, but no one else that could transform like her. She felt a strange tug as the wolf paced with panicked eyes and darted back into the woods. Kenzie thought to herself “I need to know more,” before she slipped back under the waves.
