Summary
Louis’ life changes completely after the passing of his mother. He and his little sister have to move in with their grandparents in a new town and start all over again. Too sad to care about anything after the loss of the person he loved the most, he is resigned to pursue a future he isn’t passionate about but is one that will help his family in the long run.
Harry’s life was uprooted after being bullied at his last school. Life isn’t much better at this new one, though he is determined to finish his schooling in the shadows until he can leave for university, focusing on his passion for dancing that allows him to escape the torture that is his daily life in school. Despite his best efforts, Louis still flinches at the name. He really shouldn’t be so affected after all these years. He’s seen the name printed down the curve of his waist in obnoxiously and uncommonly large loopy letters every single day since his sixteenth birthday eight years ago. He’s very familiar with the name Harry Styles.

Now, on a snowy Valentine’s Day, Harry and Louis are retelling the story of how they met and fell in love.
