Steph, of course, wrote everything and wanted to see if he'd decide on her face again... he did, and at the same time, he didn't.
The writer saw a panel from Batgirl Vol. 3 #5 and came up with the story.

“And you are?” Lucifer asked with apprehension, his visible eyes narrowing slightly.
“Alastor! Pleasure to be meeting you, quite a pleasure!” The red guy- Alastor apparently said quickly, shaking Lucifer’s cane with a grin that seemed a bit tight.
“It’s nice to finally put a face, or mask, to the name! You are much shorter in real life!” Lucifer was not going to like this guy, was he?

Lucifer was heavily scarred during his fall from heaven. And not just mentally. So he hides his face at every moment possible. No one in hell has seen the entirety of his scars.
This annoying red guy seems to be trying to change that last statement, however.
