Summary
When their maker Armand goes missing, Louis and Daniel desperately try to find him. After running out of options Louis decides it’s time they go ask for help from one of Armand’s old friends Lestat. Lestat who’s also the leader of the Paris coven.
—“Look- we’re not here to chat. We’re looking for our maker; I’m wondering if you’ve heard from him.” Daniel said, deadpanned and serious.
“I don’t know.” Lestat asked, looking around the room at his coven, acting bored. “Who’s your maker and why would we know of him?”
“Well, you see, he used to be a founding member what I heard. But that could be bullshit based on his track record.” Daniel reached for his sunglasses and took them off.
Orange eyes looked back at him, and Lestat had no doubt in his mind who their maker was.

Daniel is interviewing the rockstar Lestat de Lioncourt while trying to ask out his crush Louis. Things get complicated.

Lestat is a rockstar, the only person he’ll listen to is his ex Louis to the annoyance of everyone.

Onward. “Claudia is gone.” Her name felt like spikes in Lestat’s ears. “My only fledgling is gone. The man I was with for 77 years directed their deaths, and then turned the one fucking guy I liked to talk to into a harbinger of death and tried to force him into my care. I’m pissed at him. Pissed is the understatement of the millenia, even.” Lestat tried to speak, tried to seize this opportunity to remind Louis of the beauty of their reconciliation, but: “I’m pissed at you! You won’t stop slandering me in public, won’t stop writing songs about how much you want to fuck me at the same time. You make me so angry, and I still–” Lestat almost thought he’d say it.
He didn’t.
