Summary
For generations, werewolves and vampires have been in conflict. What was once grand wars has dwindled to mindless prejudice, though it hurts those affected by it all the same. But that doesn't mean resolutions cannot be reached, as is the case with the insomniac werewolf Yoo Joonghyuk and the starving vampire Kim Dokja whose venom can put the former to sleep while the latter provides him blood.
But their deal is not known to the rest of Yoo Joonghyuk's pack, who only care about Kim Dokja because they don't know what he is. And they'll never find out because what he and Yoo Joonghyuk have really is just transactional.
It's all it can be, anyway.

A bright red fabric was draped on the bed. Rose petals scattered on the floor. Candles were lighting up a path, leading up to it. Someone had put way too much effort in this.
Kim Dokja was amused at his newly wed husband taking in the scene, a vein in his forehead throbbing as his eyes wandered further.
“We will not indulge in the pleasures of the flesh”, warned Yoo Joonghyuk-his first words to him all day.
It was a normal workday for Kim Dokja. He was going home, reading, unaware of his surroundings. There was the blaring horn of a truck that had suddenly appeared. The driver who tried to prevent the crash-and failed. When Kim Dokja opened his eyes again he was in another world. You know, the usual. -

A beast so beautiful, so regal bleeding out at Kim Dokja's feet. And though he might be an ancient spirit, one that has seen and lived through so much, it was in this moment that he was nothing more than a mere tiny fox, hungry and cold and greedy.
