The shimmer goes into vi's body. "ahh!! Agh!! Ahh!! S-Shit!! f-fuckkk!!" Vi shouts in pain.
A little vi and her mother come down the stairs towards her. Vi then sees her mom have baby powder in her arms-rocking her. Baby Powder giggles cutely and smiles.
"you need to be a big girl now. You've got a little sister to protect. You mustn't disappoint me, am I clear?" Little Vi nods. "Atta girl"
Or: Vi gets hurt and her sister has to save her. Unfortunately that would mean to traumatise the poor girl with her past that already haunts her.

Summary
Trauma doesn’t just disappear out of nowhere just because your getting love and attention. The memories always there in the back of your mind.
From loosing her family and friends to being in prison vi’s past is not pretty. The scars on her knuckles are there to proof it. Always being in horrible fights every now and again just so she can see the fear and blood dripping down their faces as they find out they have come a-crossed the wrong person.After all, vi is short for violence.

Summary
Vi isn’t proud of it but she physically and mentally can’t stop. Hurting herself has only became a habit she seem to not be able to stop even years later. For obvious reasons she doesn’t wanna get caught. Because she can’t be weak. she’s a leader, someone to look up to.
Being vulnerable is pushed aside at such a young age. Instead of talking about her mental state, she injures herself to help her eventhough she knows that’s not the best way to cope with trauma.
Or: vi self harms.
