Minho snorts. “Am I?”
“Well, I've never seen you here before.”
“Because you know all of their wedding guests?”
Jisung has to laugh. “I know most of Hyunjin’s side,” he says.
“Well obviously I’m a friend of Seungmin’s.”
Jisung pauses to stare, eyes narrowing with curiosity. “Yeah,” he plays along. “But you’re new.”
Minho chuckles. “You keep saying that. What does that mean?”
“I mean that you’re new. Here. Today. New. I’ve experienced this wedding over thirty times now and—” his breath hitches because he really just said that out loud, but there’s an immediate flicker in Minho’s eyes that has him exhaling with relief.
“Oh. Well.”

“Jisung, I swear, sometimes I think you actually live under a rock.”, Hyunjin, a.k.a. the queen of drama, looked absolutely appalled. “Since his father’s death last year, Lee Minho has become the most powerful man in Korea. He and his family basically control everything.” He shared a conspiratorial look with Felix. “And he is an Alpha.” Hyunjin said it as if this guy’s second gender was mind-blowing. As if Felix wasn’t currently dating an Alpha. As if that same Alpha wasn’t one of Jisung’s best friends. And as if his other best friend wasn’t also an Alpha. As if they weren’t surrounded by Alphas all the time.
Needless to say so far, Jisung was less than impressed. Rich guys – especially rich Alphas – came to their uni every other day, giving speeches, looking for people to hire but mostly to get recognition and admiration, especially from young Omegas. Jisung found it sickening.

Admittedly cliché ABO story about messy law student Jisung, who meets powerful CEO Minho while getting coffee at uni. They are both drawn to each other but both feel like they shouldn't be. Minho also doesn't tell him who he really is. Things get fun from there^^

Minho loses his dream, swept from right under him. It leaves him without his cats, a place to live and forcing him to live on his best friend's couch. It was all because of a scathing google review. So when he is offered a place to rent, one of his roommates being Jisung, a man he's known for so little time, yet the hamster seems to walk on glass around him. Why does he seem so scared of someone like Minho?
Jisung, is scared for his life. Guilt ridden and stressed he avoids Minho as much as he can. But why can't he escape the thought of kissing him all over again.

Tonight was supposed to be movie night. They snuggled up under Seungmin's covers, snacks and drinks at the ready, lights dimmed and phones in do-not-disturb mode. Seungmin's laptop sat on their legs, open to their chosen movie, just waiting for Seungmin to press play. Minho jabbered away excitedly about the latest story he was reading.
“And then, you will not believe the ridiculous plot twist this story had,” he said, with far too much enthusiasm for the situation. “It turns out the camboy was this dude’s crush the entire fucking time! When they finally slept together, he recognized the freckle pattern on the dude’s dick.”
Minho’s high-pitched giggles filled the room as he turned to Seungmin to see if he found the story amusing, but stopped when he caught sight of Seungmin’s blank face. “What? Isn’t it funny?” He asked. “He recognized him by his dick freckles!”
Seungmin gave him his signature blank stare. “You read fan fiction?” He asked slowly.

Summary
At 2AM, surrounded by cold takeout and the particular disgust of something private becoming public, Jisung watches a stranger skate to the song he wrote at the lowest point of his life about feeling absolutely invisible. He released it quietly, at a sinking label, on an album no one listened to. No one heard it, and he'd counted on it staying that way.
And then Lee Minho - ranked third in the world - skates to it in the ISU World Championships, in front of cameras and judges and the entire internet, and suddenly it isn't buried anymore. It's just out there, exposed, and Jisung decides that someone is going to answer for this.
So he makes a plan: find Lee Minho, prove he didn't really understand the song, make him apologize, and go home.
What he doesn't account for is Minho looking at him - not through him, not past him - like he's someone worth the trouble of seeing.

Minho gripped the phone.
“You never make it,” the words came out sharper than Minho intended. He took a deep breath. “Okay, forget it. I just thought... never mind.”

He had found a job working for company Racha. They had hired him sight unseen and they hadn't even asked his subgender. It was a blessing. Jisung assumed it was because omegas didn't work careers. Thats what his family had always said. Racha allowed him to not only work but to work from home. He had settled into a lonely existence but one where he was safe. He could quietly write music no one would hear and work with some amazing artists. Then a new alpha moved into his building and he began to lose focus. Followed by him accidently allowing one of his songs to be seen by others. That began a snowball effect. Could it be that the things he had always believed not just about himself but about subgenders weren't accurate? Was it possible that you could find family and pack that you weren't born into? Could you find a mate? Jisung was on his way to finding out and it started with a need for coffee.

He explains his dilemma to Minho and the two agree to pretend to date to save face in front of Seungmin. And even in this whirlwind of lies, Minho desperately tries to hide something from Jisung that will destroy both of them.

This is a story of self-exploration for Jisung and learning how to trust again for both of them.
