They watched the first act in comfortable silence. Will wasn’t really paying attention to the movie, though. That sweet smell had permeated the air. He felt drunk on it.
And Mike, who had started the movie sitting and appropriate distance away from Will, had gradually crept into his space, until their thighs and shoulders were touching. Don’t read into it. Don’t read into it. Will recited in his head, like a mantra. Still, the places where they touched burned.
