How utterly unhappy she looked, though he doubted anyone who didn’t know her had spotted her tells. But Neve was observant. She probably saw the same things he did. He settled on keeping things simple. “I don't like this.”
Neve nodded. “Picked up on it too? They're planning something.”
“Something involving Rook,” he muttered.
