Dick let out a small laugh, nudging him with his shoulder. "Pretty sure you’d burn your hand off, genius."
Wally grinned, turning to face him, the golden glow of the sunset reflecting in his green eyes. "Worth it."
Dick rolled his eyes, but his smile lingered as he shifted closer, their shoulders brushing. "I don’t need a star," he murmured. "I’ve got you."
Wally blinked, caught off guard, before his grin softened into something warmer, something real. He reached out, lacing his fingers through Dick’s and squeezing gently. For a moment, the world was still, quiet, as if it, too, was holding its breath.
"Always," Wally whispered, and Dick couldn’t help but believe him.
In which Wally West ceases, and Dick Grayson loses his entire world in sixteen seconds.

Now, he just had to figure out how to juggle his commitment to the cheer team, all of the high school drama swirling around him, and his growing interest for his best friend and the school's cross country star, Wally West. Summary
Saparata lives a very average, miserable life. He has school, that's torture, and he also has a job, another horrible thing.
Not to mention, he lives in the darkest part of the country, the state of Yggdrasil. The place is a ruin, with buildings worn down and barely holding up, roads with cracks and potholes.
His life becomes complicated when the number one villain, The Architect, stumbles into his shop. The feared villain bleeding with a large gash across his stomach and looking like he's seen better days.
Saparata has a dilemma whether he should help the villain or not.
...He helps the villain anyway. He swore to help those in need, after all. The person in front of him is a patient first and foremost. The Architect being the most terrifying villain in the entire world comes second.
Or
The classic villains and heroes AU with Saparata being just an average guy that gets dragged into their world all because of his kind heart, helping an injured villain in need.
Is his life still average after this?
