Odysseus still refused to say much about his journey. This was not a problem. Penelope and Telemachus were more than willing to wait until he was ready to talk.
However, one morning, during what was supposed to be an ordinary breakfast, the little family, along with Athena and Ctimene were transported into a strange room. Here, they were told that they were going to witness events of the past : Odysseus' journey.

She was impossibly out of his league and honestly, the type of attractive that felt sort of illegal. Like, he shouldn’t even have the right to look at her. Full red lips that just begged to be touched and wide grey eyes.
Her gaze locked on bright sea green eyes and her breath stuttered for a moment. Obscured by a wall in the back, a boy with unruly locks and enviously long lashes, sat straighter in his seat. He looked flawless with high cheek bones and a sharp jaw that could cut glass. He was new, but she liked what she saw.

When Percy Jackson slipped into the car Thalia Grace had occupied, he'd expected a neat conversation, maybe a bit of a retreat from having to sleep in cold, lonesome cars for a bit.
He certainly hadn't expected to confront a new-found fascination with muscular thighs, nor confront the crush he'd been nursing since meeting her in the summer, but, well, here we are.
Who would've thought it would be returned though? They do argue like a married couple though...
With the Great Prophecy hanging over their heads, and so much pressure on their shoulders, sometimes comfort has to be found in letting go with another person, just for a little bit. Life's too short.
(a one-shot, for now, unless people like this enough. Then I might do a Heroes of Olympus second chapter.)

The only contact Harry has had with Dumbledore all summer, is a decrepit note reading 'Be kind to strangers'. Meanwhile, the seven plus Nico, Clarisse and Calypso receive a cryptic prophecy and set off to Hogwarts looking for the answer.
This book is set during the Order of the Phoenix for the Harry Potter crew, and for the Percy Jackson gang it's set after Blood of Olympus, but before the Trials of Apollo. (FYI Percy and Annabeth have already run into the Kane siblings, and Leo and Calypso are also back.)
