That particular Unique was on the smaller side of the line up, but would still tower over a standard model. Its armored chassis was a dull green. Joe wondered at the coloration; surely it couldn’t be for camouflage. Even back on Earth there wasn’t enough greenery in one place to allow something of this size to blend in. It had a bipedal design, and seemed unusually bulky around the shoulders and legs. Built for strength, not speed Joe guessed. Its head was adorned with orange-red cables, each wider than a city bus. They were retracted to chin-length while inactive, but Joe knew very well how they could extend past the length of its body. How they could toss buildings like game pieces.
Joe had suspected before, but now she knew for certain.
This was the mech he’d witnessed at the destruction of Nashville.
This was GORGON.
And she was its pilot.

Featuring Onesided Enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, unrequited love, eventually requited love, Bad Communication, Bad Communication (purposeful), slow burn, heavy angst and a happy ending, because if it isn't a happy ending then what's the point <3SUMMARY: Grian is trying to flee from something he can’t outrun and stumbles into the world of the supernatural. Mumbo has been alone for a long time and no longer knows how to open up. Scar is all too aware he’s living on borrowed time and acts... accordingly.

Summary
A collection of all the stories in Traveling Thieves, which is my Dark Fantasy, Hybrid Slavery, super angsty AU that spawned from my Whumptober 2023 prompt fills! Currently in semi-chronological order except for the first fic in the series, which will always be “I see the danger, it’s written there in your eyes” which if anyone does want to read the series in chronological order, I’d like them to start there! ^-^ I also occasionally place some stories in specific locations that I think work best for the reading order that aren't exactly where they'd be timeline-wise!
WARNING: THIS IS A WHUMP-CENTRIC, ANGST-CENTRIC, HURT/COMFORT (SOMETIMES NO COMFORT) DARK FANTASY AU.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the tags before you dive into any stories of this one, this series is intended to be a place for me to try my hand at writing and exploring some darker themes.

Summary
Humans are largely an undocumented species in the greater universe. All who had ever tried to reach the outer cosmos had not survived; all but one, that is.
X, also known as Xisuma, found himself on the other side of the universe with nothing but what he had on him when he was taken. He decided that this was a prime opportunity to screw around and find out. One by one, Xisuma assembled the crew of the Hermitcraft, a ragtag team of misfit aliens from all across the cosmos. He showed them kindness and compassion, different than anything they ever knew, and they became stronger together.
This is how the crew of The Hermitcraft came to be.

Summary
The first time the kid appears, Grian is perched on top of his mansion, considering the great windows he may or may not leave open in the roof. He moves a little closer to the edges, light-footed; it’s at this moment that a blur of red and white falls out of the sky and tumbles right through the holes that are the object of Grian’s consternation.
Huh, Grian thinks.
If this is what he thinks it is, he is delighted. It’s been a long time since he’s come across a godling, and little gods don’t fall out of the sky near well-established gods of chaos unless they, too, have an inclination towards causing mischief and there’s some kind of godborne bond at work. So he moves a little closer to the crumpled heap of presumably-godling, crouches, and prods their shoulder with a wingtip.Or: Tommy becomes a trickster god. Grian is the universe's mentor for him. It goes about as well as you would expect.
