“I am the one who sent that letter to you, captain. I wish to create an alliance with you and your crew.” The emperor said casually. The confidence in their words was sickening, needing help, but seemingly too strong to beg a lowly group like Byleth’s own. Condescending, but rightfully so with that much power to their name.
“...I don’t believe that crap for a second. What could you possibly gain from having an alliance with us?” Byleth said with a subtle undertone of hostility and narrowed her eye at the emperor, putting her hand on her sword. The emperor sighed at the display, but made no effort to back away. Calm in the face of a storm.
“I seek the destruction of the empire, and I need your help to do so.”
