When a stranger starts stealing people's abilities, the ADA and the Port Mafia team up to figure it out. However, something goes wrong and Dazai loses his ability in the process.
The big problem? His ability not only nullified the abilities of others, but also his own emotions. And now, for the first time in his life, Dazai has emotions, chaotic and in turmoil. In the midst of this identity crisis, Dazai sets out to explore the world with Chuuya as his grumpy bodyguard, only to discover that he has never felt so...alive. And then they find out that if they don't find a way to give him back his ability, Dazai will die within two weeks.
In a race against time, chaos ensues.

There are whispers that the other half of soukoku had some hand in the Demon Prodigy's escape. Rumors that the Port Mafia is weaker than it seems due to hidden subterfuge.
Chuuya was supposed to be a brief example of punishment and humiliation to shore up the mafia; hell, he even agreed to this shit. It was supposed to be temporary.
And he believed it, until all he heard were the echoes of his own screams in the darkness, beyond the reach of any who might care to listen.

Summary
Chuuya Nakahara was decidedly not having a great day. His evening was being ruined by a mackerel and a stupid mission that he could probably handle on his own.
But… he should probably look on the bright side. At least he was getting to go for a ride on his motorcycle. Even if it was to reach a safehouse, where he'd have to put up with a suicidal manipulative bastard for two nights. Eugh.
For now, Chuuya consoled himself by imagining various ways to exact revenge on his ex-partner. Besides, in three days, this weird organization would almost certainly be gone.
In three days, everything would be fine, and maybe Chuuya could finally relax.
OR: After the cannibalism arc, a new organization moves in the shadows of Yokohama. Their intentions are unknown, but they are almost certainly dangerous. The two halves of Soukoku are once again forced to team up, with the purpose of destroying the entirety of the threat. But one wrong move results in a catastrophic failure that could mean defeat for both the Agency and the Port Mafia.

Something was definitely going to go wrong; Ryuunosuke wasn’t as naive as the weretiger and knew that this had to be one of Dazai’s schemes. But there was no way he was going to do something as extreme as refuse Dazai, so he replied, “Of course, Dazai-san. I will assist you in whatever you require.” He spoke slower than usual, but he would not let the alcohol compromise his eloquence.
“So will I,” Atsushi chimed in hurriedly, shooting Ryuunosuke a distrustful look. “W-what do you need?”
A Bungo Stray Dogs fic in which soukoku and shin soukoku 'accidentally' get drunk together and D&D shenanigans ensue (Dazai is a manipulative little shit who knows what he's doing the whole time).

Dazai had thought once that he was a curse upon the people he loved. That he would bring misfortune upon them. That if he dared care for someone he would lose them and they would suffer.
The detective agency had changed all that. Taught him to sheath his blade, to care, and protect. Showed him a world of light, where he could try to protect the ones he loved, and be gentle in a way he'd never known.
But now he's frozen in front of Atsushi, and all he can think about is how one touch would kill the boy he's sworn three times over to protect, and he can't help but think that if he was kind enough to comfort him, he would stop his heart immediately.
No Longer Human has never been a kind ability. Dazai realises how cruel it can be.

Dazai takes a deep breath and intertwines his fingers on the round table between them. “You see, all my life I’ve been able to see things that other people can’t. Ghosts. Spirits. Yokai. That kind of thing, you know?” He takes Chuuya’s welcoming silence as his cue to go on. “Anyways, I’m pretty sure my manager thinks I’m even crazier than normal because I’m talking to myself at this very moment, right? You’re just another figment of my imagination? I’ve grown bored enough to conjure a pretty little thing like you out of my mind to make life more interesting?”
A dreadful minute of silence passes before they say, “You’re not crazy.”
