He had been born and raised in New York but an unfortunate event caused the need for the Hockstetter family to move away, somewhere that hopefully they could start over. So a small town is where they went, somewhere most hadn't heard of.
Patrick didn't care if they moved or not, after all, it was his fault they had to move in the first place. He fucked up and now his parents had to pay for it. He sat in the backseat of the family car listening to some sad depressing emo shit, as his father liked to call it, really it was just My Chemical Romance, not the most depressing emo shit he listened to but whatever.

They were quite different from each other, Eddie wore soft colors, oversized sweaters, and skinny jeans. He was prettier than a boy should be in the town of Derry but he couldn’t help it. His flawless skin was naturally tan with freckles sprinkled across his cheeks and nose, his lips a pretty pink, his eyes a chocolate brown that sparkled, and fluffy brown hair that curled a little at the ends since he started to grow his hair out. He was small for a boy, shorter than everyone else his age, he was thin since his mother would only let him eat small portions and food she deemed healthy.
Richie Tozier was hot and he knew it, he walked the halls like he didn’t give a damn about anything, he wore all black which complimented his pale skin, he had perfectly straight white teeth thanks to his father being the town’s dentist, black unruly curly hair he would sometimes straighten if he wanted to look more punk and he would tend to put in streaks of blue or red, and huge black glasses that covered his bright blue eyes, that on anyone else would make them look like a nerd, but on Richie, just added to his good looks.

His name was Mr. Ivan. He had been one of Eddie's neighbors as a teen. The neighbor that he had worked for the most when his mother forbade him from getting a real job. Though no one but the two of them knew what Eddie was really getting paid for.
Twice a week he would make his way to Mr. Ivan's to "complete chores". And twice a week the seventeen year old would be put in a position he shouldn't have been in. Twice a week Eddie would be extra jumpy and not himself and absolutely terrified of seeing the losers, not wanting them to figure it out.

“Seriously Bev? Why do I have to go with you to some hippy-dippy flowers and rainbows store?” Richie asked his best friend.
Richie had been dragged out of his college dorm room because Bev wanted to take him to the witch shop she frequented. Richie had no problem with her being a witch, he honestly didn’t really believe in it but if she felt like crystals and spells made her life better, then he could handle the incense constantly burning in her room and he could handle her being in a coven.
It didn’t seem like a big deal, it's a group of college kids who sit around and talk about spells and shit. It's not like they actually had magical powers like in the movies. Bev smiled mischievously and continued walking, holding Richie’s arm.

He felt his bed dip as Matt sat on it and took his boots off. Disappointment fell heavy on Joey, he knew his brother was going to stay so he would just have to keep pretending to sleep.

He still terrorized the kids of Derry. The worst thing he did was let Bowers and his gang kick the loser’s club’s asses. He didn’t join, pretending to be bored of it but really he didn’t want to hurt them.
Richie would always look so betrayed but he seemed to understand that Patrick couldn’t save him or his friends. When Henry growled at him to help, Patrick would shrug and light a cigarette. Henry had grown more and more annoyed with Patrick’s behavior, his behavior only with the losers.

"Is Stan and Bill here?", he asked looking around. He saw no one else in the room but the person who opened the door and still standing at the door looking confused. Eddie looked at the guy and realized this guy was quite hot. He guessed this was Stan's roommate and he felt a blush creep up his neck. The guy was tall, crazy tall, like probably over six feet tall. His black curly hair framed his face nicely. He wore black hipster glasses, as Eddie likes to call them, and had a silver hoop nose ring and his ears were gauged! He wore ripped black skinny jeans with a few chains, a black band tee, and oddly a brightly colored blue Hawaiian shirt over his band tee. It didn't go together and looked a little weird. His smile, oh his smile made Eddie feel butterflies in his stomach.
"And you are?", he asked closing his room door and sat on his bed.
"I'm Eddie, your roommate Stan went for coffee with my roommate Bill like an hour ago and I came to find Bill.", he explained hoping it didn't sound weird. He stood in the middle of the room feeling awkward and willing his feet to walk him back out but he stayed right there under the stare of this beautiful guy.

The louder Henry got, the more annoyed Patrick was getting and he was ready to punch Henry in the face. Victor and Belch were quiet, not wanting to piss Henry off, but Patrick wasn't afraid to do so. He was the only person in Derry who was not afraid of Henry Bowers.
Although Patrick was afraid of almost nothing in the commonly understood sense of the word (it's hard to be afraid of things that aren't "real"), there was at least one thing that filled him with wretched loathing. He had come out of Brewster Lake one warm August day when he was seven to discover four or five leeches clinging to his stomach and legs.
